Stop-motion adaptation of the Kenneth Grahame novel, produced by Cosgrove Hall for Thames Television and aired on ITV. Consists of the 1983 TV movie adapting the novel, followed by 52 episodes over 5 series between 1984 and 1990, with an additional TV movie, A Tale of Two Toads (1989) airing between Series 4 and 5, and the final series identified on-screen as Oh, Mr. Toad. Stars Richard Pearson as Mole, Ian Carmichael as Rat (film) and the Narrator (TV series), Peter Sallis as Rat (series), David Jason as Toad and the Chief Weasel, and Michael Hordern as Badger.
