British children's sci-fi series created by Roger Price and produced by Thames Television for ITV, about the eponymous Tomorrow People - aka Homo superior - the next stage in human evolution, who develop paranormal abilities around the age of puberty in an experience known as "breaking out". From The Lab, a secret base in an abandoned London Underground station, the team watch for new Tomorrow People and seek to help them through the process and subsequently help keep their powers a secret from those who would seek to ridicule or exploit them. The series frequently ventures into darker territory than would normally be seen in children's TV of the era, helping make it a classic of British speculative fiction television. This archive contains all eight seasons, comprising 68 episodes across 22 serials, as well as the 1997 retrospective documentary Beyond Tomorrow.
