Adventures of a rancher (Chuck Connors) and his son in the Old West. In this first episode, as Lucas arrives in North Fork to buy a ranch, he is ordered by a murderous town owner (Leif Erickson) to lose a public shooting match, or the man will kill his sharpshooting opponent (Dennis Hopper) and possibly harm his son Mark (Johnny Crawford) as well.
