Railroad detective Matt Clark (Jim Davis) learns of noted gunslinger John B. Ringgold (Donald Curtis), aka Johnny Ringo, while investigating a train robbery. Matt's associate Frankie (Mary Castle) gets a job that allows her to do some undercover investigation. After Johnny kills a cowboy (Harry Lauter), Matt trails him to a showdown in the desert.
