Before 2013, for decades, Episode 1 of The Web of Fear was known to exist in the BBC Archives, having been saved from being wiped and junked. Only 5 episodes went missing. In October 2013, Episodes 2, 4, 5, and 6 were founded in Jos, Nigeria by Philip Morris, Just before shipment and gain permission from the BBC, Episode 3 went disappeared (but went missing), It was apparently stolen and sold to the private collector. It was likely valuable because of its important first appearance of the Brigadier).
