In 1984, Mark Alan Stamaty's comic strip "Washingtoon" was adapted by Thad Mumford for Showtime into an aired pilot. The following year, an additional twelve episodes were produced, with only ten of them known to have aired on the premium cable channel. This is the fifth regular episode of the series that starred Barry Corbin, Beverly Archer, Hilary Thompson, Jack Riley, Jack Colvin, Christina Applegate, Jason Naylor, and Thomas Callaway.
